What we store on your device

World Clock Atlas has no accounts and does not ask for personal information. Your preferences — your time zone, favourite cities, calling-planner locations and light or dark theme — are saved in your own browser's local storage so the site remembers them next time. They are never sent to us, and you can clear them at any time by clearing this site's data in your browser.

Time zone calculations happen entirely in your browser. The map outline and charting code are loaded from the jsDelivr content delivery network, which receives standard request information such as your IP address.

Advertising

Some pages show ads served by Google AdSense. Google and its partners use cookies to serve ads based on your previous visits to this and other websites. Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visits to this site and/or other sites on the Internet.

You can opt out of personalised advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings, or opt out of some third-party vendors' use of cookies for personalised advertising at aboutads.info. Learn more about how Google uses information from sites that use its services.

Visitors in the European Economic Area, the UK and Switzerland are asked for consent before personalised ads are shown.

Notifications

The timers can show a browser notification when time is up, only if you turn this on and allow it. Notifications are created by your browser; nothing is sent to a server.

Changes

If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted on this page with a new date.
